Tournament Rules

Welcome to Yankton and the Hansen-Haas Basketball Tournament (formerly Roger Haas). The purpose of this tournament is to provide a fun and educational experience for the kids and at the same time to raise funds for the Roger Haas Memorial Scholarship Fund. We want the kids to learn about basketball, teamwork and sportsmanship. We ask everyone’s participation in showing the kids what good sportsmanship is. Remember, the best way to teach the kids is by setting a good example. All tournament workers from the referees to the people at the door are volunteers. We ask you to treat them with respect and thank them for their work.
